"This series is so fun. I've read a couple now and find them to be really great. The series mainly brings an introduction into different topics regarding what a child might want to do when they 'grow up' and tells them some of the steps to get started. The books describe what a day in the life of whichever topic they choose. There are many of these books and I'm certain this would be an awesome series to have available for a classroom or school library even...I recommend trying this series out if you child has an interest in any of the topics presented in this book series."

"When I was growing up my parents suggested 2 or 3 things that I might like to do as an adult and I ended up doing one of those - and I think it is mainly because I did not have the knowledge that there were so many other possibilities out there - I was sheltered and naive. Today’s children do not have to be - and this is a great [series] to give to the child who is detail driven, inquisitive and wants to understand how things work and why....At the end the author also lists all the other 'So you want to be a' books - I’d love to read them all and think these would be a great way to expose any child in middle school to what might be available to them based on what they already love doing and learning."
